... had done it!! We then had to get to the train station to go to Matsuyama where we were staying for the night. We finally arrived at the hostel at 9:00pm. Sadly we had missed the hours they had their onsen open but we had amazing showers. The hostel was really nice and the guy very helpful. Our room was tatami mats, very clean and comfy. We were sad we wouldn't have any time in Matsuyama as we were just passing through. It is famous for it's big onsen and the castle. Another ...

A travel blog entry by globalshepherds on Apr 29, 2015

As we got to sleep pretty late the night before and we had to wake up sort of early to get our free breakfast - 9AM - it didn't surprise me that we were both feeling pretty tired after breakfast. On this day we would travel to the outskirts of Hiroshima and perhaps take a bike ride between some of the islands on the Japanese Inland Sea. Once again while there is plenty of water to surf on in this region the WindGuru ...

... chatting to a Taiwanese woman who told us that the group were part of a health/business conference as the owner of the hotel believes that a healthy body and mind makes for a healthy business. Strangely, when we asked her why her English was so good she said hat she had studied in Edinburgh as well! To finish the bizarre day a man from the group stood up and started playing the saxophone. What an experience and certainly not one mentioned in the Rough ...
