I headed back to the hostel and the German guy from Mirissa also arrived. We chatted for a while and he said he would like to head to Negombo with me before he left (late Sunday night). I said that would be great so, after some more reading and what not, I headed to bed after another lovely, lovely day. Sorry that there's not much more to tell you but what can I say, some days are just quiet. I like it.

I started talking to a great english couple on the train, who I got on with really well, but ...

Like all Sri Lankans , the guard at the gate was very polite and helpful and directed us to the right platform . Seeing the huge crowd I almost decided against boarding the coach. There were no seats available for a good half an ...

The plan was to make our way over to the East of the country to avoid the monsoon which was due in the West and South. It was going to take at least 5 hours to get there though so we decided to make our way back to Mirissa and spend our last week there as we loved it so much. We even checked into the same guest house as the family was really lovely and rooms were nice. Within about an hour of arriving I had seen a huge snake in the guest house garden. Luke had popped to the shops and I ...
