      ... Sri Lanka and not surf! We organised a surfing lesson, I was completely green, Lani had done it 10 years ago in high school but we both got up on the board which was good. Unfortunately they had one big beginner board and the other was a lot smaller. We swapped half way through the lesson so at any time one of us was struggling on the small board. Nonetheless it was great fun.

      We did our own little bit of celebrating over the past weekend for the Sri Lankan new year. We headed to a little town outside of Galle called Unawatuna where we met Sarah and Jenna.
