... their new adventure - sea adventure. They are usually being kept for 2 days and when they are stronger they are put back to the wild. We have seen also turtles saved from fishing nets and other sea turtles species. I was able to handle these small turtle babies. It was very nice and strong experience.

Curry puffs and dipping sauces, a prawn curry and my fave tandoori chicken, washed down with a local Lion beer. Total price $8.00, outstanding :-) (I will be fading away to a block of units at this rate:-(
I was up early to pack my bag for the first 5 hour leg to Hikkaduwa which is on the southwest coast. I could not believe it when ...

... with a bit of success. Poked around a small supermarket, marvelling at the weird stuff you can get in packets, and the ridiculous range of choice in biscuits. Then watched the most spectacular sun set: the sun a giant pink orb sunk into the sea among a play of colours. Having set up in a restaurant full of trees, fake wood table and chairs, ponds full of guppies, and twinkling lights overhead, we concluded that Hikkaduwa may be a bit ****, but in a lovable kinda ...
