    Vandaag een rustdag aan het strand en zwembad. Met zo nu en dan een regenbui, maar die duren niet langer dan een half uur. We redden het wel.

    Maandag 20 juli 2015 Als we wakker worden en ontbijten zien we pas hoe mooi het hier is, wij zijn natuurlijk in het donker aangekomen en hebben het prachtige meer waar we aan zitten niet gezien.     ... resort at its seafood restaurant. This was very good! Whilst I am not a seafood fan...I did have crab cakes for starters (very good) followed by a fillet mignon as a main. Tim had lobster. This was a restaurant overlooking the beach and was a very nice meal. Overnight there was a loud storm with cracks of thunder and we woke to intermittent showers. Not that it matters as we head to Colombo ...

    We were very kindly greeted by the owners of Villa Atulya, a man and his son. We were given the choice of two beautiful rooms on the ground floor. We spent the day relaxing by the gorgeous pool sipping on a coconut that the chef cut for us, had a sleep in the kingsize bed and enjoyed the best shower in a bathroom that was three times the size of our one at home!
