Cheap hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms, great pool

Okay, I don't know why the pool is partially shaded--and it is pretty small--but it's still super-awesome. The staff were completely wonderful, we were 15ish minutes from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, and the room was in the $50 range with our AAA discount.

Today we spent the day travelling from Canada to America. We spent the first part of our drive watching Love Actually while we were travelling through Canada and when we crossed the border and made our way into America, we went through Buffalo in New York State and Pennsylvania. As we crossed the boarder we had Born in the USA playing loudly in the coach as well as other 'American' songs to welcome us back into the country. ...

... we felt right at home! There is also a sports stadium and Science Museum in the same locality.

An early evening supper at a local restaurant, dining on the patio overlooking a small river, we continued to enjoy J&T’s company. We had taken two cars, the girls in the yellow bug, as the boys wanted to head out to the airfield to check over the EZ before we moved on. We really enjoyed our stay and were made very welcome – thanks Jan and Terry.

... man in front of a fresh market, and he gives us a hint for a remote-located Amish farm. After some searching, and driving some narrow buggy roads with our car, we find the place and are welcomed by the host's kids: they have to run and get the father from the fields behind the farm house, so we can check in. It couldn't be more authentic and Amish: no electricity (except some solar-powered outlets and ...

We were supposed to leave around 8 last night but Ron called and told JP to wait so that he could fill the last bit of space in the trailer with something from the warehouse. I opted to go sleep in the Kmart parking lot (I was already all unpacked in the truck) but Kmart kicked us out....they used to be truck friendly but now they "have new policies." ...
