... even at the highest peak. We had planned to do a companion steamboat tour on the Mississippi but the high flood water prevented access to the boats. So, we came up with plan B inspired by the view from the top - a tour of Busch Stadium!

A quick check on the phone, a short walk to the stadium and we had 2:00 tour tickets. The Cardinals were playing in Miami and if we couldn't see a game this was the next best thing. Known ...

... for coffee in the Refuge Coffee shop. I enjoyed a caramel mocha, andy had a cappuccino. It was a new and trendy coffee bar with sofas and comfy chairs, so we sat ourselves in the corner looking like a front room with a burning fireplace. My awesome mom overnighted it to Cincinnati so I will post pictures later. I've ...

... the plane, the machine spat out new seat assignments!!

Upon landing in St Louis, our bags took about 20 min to come out and then we
got the shuttle bus to Avis rental car. We picked up a Ford Flex and drove to our hotel,
the Union Station Hotel by Doubletree. We received room 4224, a 2 room suite with 2
queen beds and a hide-a-bed. The sitting room was quite large, but the furnishings
could be updated a bit. The Union Station Hotel is in the old ...

The Cardinals Fans are Good but Not Phillies Fans

We found the ballpark to be very pretty and the fans to be nice but not really as into the game as our Phillies fans are on any given game. Perhaps it was because we were sitting in the section that was close to the field and not up in ...
