... to where I started. The ferry had a 2 HP electric motor to pull it back and forth. We took lots of pictures. Then we were off to Bo's Hollow. Mom Lynn and son Mark seem to run the place. They have a "30's Gas station and a little village with a Barber shop, Post office, Telegraph office, General store, Jail and Smoke House that sold beef jerky. We took a tour of the property and shop were they restore Model A's. Right now Dave is working on restoring a Vicky. ...

... doing Route 66 and even had a stuffed sheep teddy called Wilber. Wilber had his photo taken with Diane and we laughed about it. Well, Ashleigh and I did whilst the boys looked awkward with embarrassment!

We continued our journey just stopping to have a drink at passing diners etc and before we knew it we were in St Louis.

We managed to find our hotel really easily and parking was also a doddle. The $15 parking fee compared to the $38 fee in Chicago ...

... checking all flight statuses I my phone this whole time. Nothing is cancelled even though the only spoken words out of this woman's mouth is the word cancelled. I created quite the pileup behind me at the self service kiosks. People get aggravated. I'll admit I was getting a little nervous. But now I've eaten supper at the airport, and am a few minutes from boarding the flight to Dallas. Weather looks good in both places. So hopefully I'm on the plane down under by 9pm ...

... come along and we were so happy just to sit in that train in the nice warmth but just as we were starting to defrost we arrived at Central West End. We got off the train and everyone split into two groups heading to either end of the station... hmm which way should we go? ... us our own on the next trip up. We were on attempt #2 when a man from a full pod next to us motioned his body like he wanted to join our less full pod. I gave him the full court press and held my ground. Sorry, no, I had a freak out so we got a pod to ourselves. (In my head: Please move away from me and my pod) He did not say a word, but turned slowly back and stuffed his bod into his pod with 4 other full grown men.
