It's sad to leave our buds in Indianapolis, but we had to start making our way West. We left Noblesville around 9am after making a quick trip to the grocery store [side note, I have started a great collection of grocery discount cards, today I got one at Kroegers :-) ]. Missouri - "Close to Home, Far from ordinary."

St Louis the jumping point when settling the West. At one time hundreds of paddle steamers were based here to travel the Mississippi River with pioneer settlers.

... elevator it was like stepping into a urinal which didn't fill me with confidence but we soldiered on and made it unscathed to the platform.
