Started the day by going to church. Their pastor is on vacation so the Liturgist/Choir
director delivered the message. He was pretty good, but they didn't have communion on this first Sunday. Of course I went to the early service, so they may have had it at the late service.
Did a load of dark clothes (love that washer). Watched everyone else leave. Think there are only about 10 of us left here for the night. Everyone was talking about the storms coming in, but we've ...
... a short while, Bob went back to the gathering place and I went for a long walk. There is a Kmart across the street from the fairgrounds so I walked over there and did some looking around. Didn't buy anything, but I needed to get my steps in for today and I really don't like walking around in circles. I'd rather go to a store and walk around looking at things. The entertainment tonight was a hillbilly band, complete with a ...
... country is still recovering from the last bout of rain.
Drove over Lake Eufaula in East Central OK. This is a very, very large lake which is even larger now with all the rain. I get this weekly newsletter from an RV person in Seattle, WA and last Saturday he wrote about all the campgrounds closed d/t flooding. 6 of them are on Lake Eufaula and now we can attest to that. There were places where earlier the water came right up to the road. Saw part of a boat ...
