... are just hoping that the decision to stay here tonight does not bite us in the rear like our decision to stay an extra night in Tyler where it poured down for about 3 hours during the middle of the night.

When we get back from dinner, we will start packing a few things up so we can get out of here before too late in the morning, although the COE park paperwork states check in time is 5 pm. Well we only have about 150 miles to go, so hopefully we can find things to do to take up ...

This being America's birthday, we had a good celebration.

There wasn't too much going on for the rally today, since it is the last day. There was a Pet Parade this morning, but since we don't have a pet, we didn't attend. Anyway we eventually found the store. Think it is Mennonite not Amish, but it ...

... to see if there was anything new. There wasn't, but it took up some time. By the time it was over, it was close to dinner, so I stayed there and waited for Bob.

The dinner meals are included in the rally price and tonight we had BBQ pork, baked beans, steamed veggies, rolls and cookies for dessert. It was pretty good and better than the place we went yesterday for dinner.

The entertainment tonight was a hillbilly band, complete with a ...

... other side of the RV next to us and it worked, so far no problem. The folks next to us had to run their water hose over to our side since they didn't have a water hookup. In the midst of all the trial and error stuff, I must have over used my right hand, because the arthritis in my right thumb really kicked in. So after dinner, we made our daily trip to Walmart and I bought one of those black gloves!! It should be much better tomorrow.

    Even though it is ...
