... desert later in the evening. All in all we could not have asked for friendlier and more accommodating people. During our Northern American travels we have experienced such friendliness and more than any of our previous trips.

A familiar scene for us. Girls up early eagerly awaiting the alarm, bags mostly packed, Matt and Jen preparing mentally for a four hour drive (more so regarding sanity than traffic)...'we're on the road again'. This was formally our last US leg drive. Breakfast, car packed, four chocolate cookies from Reception received and we were ready to leave Charlotte.

... very low also. There are two poles sticking in the ground and the water is up to 1 ft on one of them and less on another. There is a buoy line
which appears to be the kind to mark the swimming boundary but it is in about a foot of water.

Tomorrow is another sight-seeing day. The plan is to spend the day seeing Civil War stuff, starting with Kennesaw National Battlefield, the proceeding to the Gone With the Wind stuff and stone Mountain. It should be another good ...
