Started the day by going to church. Their pastor is on vacation so the Liturgist/Choir
director delivered the message. He was pretty good, but they didn't have communion on this first Sunday. Of course I went to the early service, so they may have had it at the late service.
Did a load of dark clothes (love that washer). Watched everyone else leave. Think there are only about 10 of us left here for the night. Everyone was talking about the storms coming in, but we've ...
This being America's birthday, we had a good celebration.
There wasn't too much going on for the rally today, since it is the last day. There was a Pet Parade this morning, but since we don't have a pet, we didn't attend. The entertainment tonight was a hillbilly band, complete with a ...
We left Durant yesterday morning about 9:30. This was a little earlier than normal, but we had about 270 miles to drive and the skies did not look promising. While we were break down and packing up there was a lot of thunder and as I looked off in the direction we were to drive, the dark clouds got thicker. As it turned out, we had about 100 drops of very light rain about 15 minutes into our drive, but then the rest of the day was very nice, hot but no rain. This area ...
