Today began a new adventure for me....I left Pensacola this morning and am currently at the Atlanta airport waiting for my flight to Washington DC. From DC I'll go to London, then after a 13 hr layover I'll head to Johannesburg and finally I take a small flight to Gaborone, my final destination. At the University of Botswana, I'll be studying public health with my classes focusing on the issues in Botswana and I'll also be taking a ...

After a delightful meal we said goodnight to Alyssa and headed off to the SkyView Wheel in downtown Atlanta. Definitely worth the wait, we enjoyed a slow romantic ride around the wheel with stunning views of the Atlanta skyline. Couldn't have been a better ...

We had a relaxing day off today by the pool. Not much to say really. Great hotel. Clean and safe. We went to the shop in the morning which was a nice walk. And had a macdonalds which is right across the street. Naughty! Got dinner in for the rest of the week and went for a lovely swim. We were the only 2 in the pool. Oh well, more for ...

... bring my passport to the airport. Within 2 minutes Dave was in my apartment, had possession of my passport and was en route to the airport. Crisis averted. Another 20 minutes passed and I had my passport in hand ad owed Dave a huge favor, but I would make my flight to Lima. Relief. Stay tuned... A few more celebratory drinks in the Sky Club and I will be heading to the boarding gate. Next stop ...
