... 70 East signs showed no services for 105 miles. We stopped and got gas, etc. and headed onward. About 20 miles in all we could see to out left was solid black from the sky to the ground with multiple lightning strikes within the storm. Zip line was fun too. They had a little ropes course that you walked over too. I went with Mr. Aguglia and he bounced a bit, sending me spinning and getting dizzy nearly unable to stand up straight and get across. I put on a great show!

Now, after about an hour and a half of driving 45 miles an hour on roads with speed limits of 65, we're in a small town called Rifle, Colorado, a few hours out of Denver. Tomorrow, we get to figure out what's going to happen with the car, and though it has mom stressed out, something tells be it'll all work out. This is why we got a rental, after all. For now, though, it's going to be a long night.
