Our first stop on the road to South America was an overnight in Dallas, Texas on Spencer's B-day. So, I scouted out a famous BBQ place that was close to the airport and our hotel - Hard Eight Texas BBQ was it! We ordered a tray of meat - seriously. ... are infatuated with guns! There were people of all ages, including some 17 year old girls that were there just to shoot some guns on a week night. For $80 you could fire 40 rounds from any automatic rifle (including AK-47) and choose a handgun to do another 50 rounds. The most worrying thing was that a few guys walked in with their own automatic, shot some rounds and then walked back out onto the street holding it in their hands.
