... at the Las Vegas Convention Center. There was a large after-market automobile show in town with over 130,000 attendees. Parking was very limited but my good friend Diana McAdam with the Las Vegas CVA had warned the parking attendants that some VIPs from Arizona was coming to see her and that they had to let us park for free, even though parking is normally charged at $10.00. We checked into our rooms at the Tropicana Express and found casino virtually dead, except a few old people dancing in the lounge with a horrible singer trying to sing....it's so bad we've put it out of our memories. Rooms was very nice the price we paid. $20.00 on Expedia. Rooms had recently been redone with quilted tops and both of us had a good night's sleep.

... path to take while wandering the beach. We hiked several miles along the beach, climbing over cliff sides and searching tide pools. We didn't want to turn back but the tide started coming in and had we not turned around when we did we would've been climbing up the cliff sides instead of just around them.
