Why Nepal? Actually our daughter Laurel chose Nepal from several programs when finishing up her degree at Luther college. After she signed on with ELI (Experiential Learning International) we asked if they would ...

Tomorrow is the big day. I am sitting at my dining room table right now with all the things that are going to keep me comfortable, clothed, healthy (hopefully), and connected. Oh, and the things that are going to let me listen to music too. Because that is, of course, important.

The bag of gatorade packets, immodium, and antibiotic make me a little nervous. I guess what happens happens. It won't keep me from trying the foods, for sure. I am looking forward to experiencing a life ...

Well after many successful days of putting things off, I am finally starting to get things ready for Ireland. Probably a good thing since I leave tomorrow for almost 4 months. Packing has been quite the challange. I am still struggling to finish because I cannot fit everything I want into my suitcase and of course I need everything I am trying to squeeze into the suitcases :) Well this ...
