        While driving yesterday we killed our first bird via the camper windshield just before we cross the Mackinaw Bridge. The bridge is 5 miles long and was under construction. When we got to the other side we stopped at a little pull off to watch the sunset. It was still light for about another 3 hours. It seems like the sun never sets up ...

        ... the yummy homemade cinnamon rolls while we were there. We then headed to the lower Tahquamenon falls. The kids agree with Mel & Jim's nickname "root beer falls". The coloring actually is from the tannin that comes from the trees in the cedar swamp. We didn't spend very much time there but got some great pics, before starting our journey south ...

        ... Ishpeming, Mi. We weren't involved at all, but it sure made us sit up and pay attention to our driving. We went to one of our favourite RV stores in Ishpeming and while in the store someone parked in front of us and a big RV unit parked behind us....so we were stuck for a bit while we hunted down the vehicle owners...some people!!!!
