... cooked on foil on the BBQ and served on a piece of wood...and eaten with our hands.. It will be an early night as the mosquitoes are huge and hungry and there isn't much else to do...we are sitting by a fire and it's getting dark. We are having a bit of wine...Ron filled his beer bottle once it was empty and I'm using my Snapple bottle...but we just realized we have the wine glasses from the wedding...too late... Heading to Bismark, ND tomorrow...stay ...

... went the southern route and we found the Sedney National Wildlife Preserve. There is a 7 mile ride through the preserve which we decided to take. ... real nice ride to the Tahquamenon Falls State Park. It is known for its waterfalls and they are just breathtaking. We hiked both the upper and lower falls and took tons of pictures. ... the center of the Upper Peninsula - this way, we can travel all around during the 3 days we are here. The campground is so nice - it's a family owned campground and the couple running it are the sweetest. It's small, beautiful sites, clean/comfy and quiet. So happy we found this place. It was recommended by Good Sams and they did get this one right. Loving retirement!!!! ...

We arrived just after a heavy rain storm, set up camp before dark and rushed off the the Brewery restaurant for supper before they stopped serving. Enjoyed two delicious beers with supper, a stout and then an amber red. Next day hiked to see the lower falls and then the upper falls which are the 2nd largest waterfalls east of the Mississippi River. The beautiful rust and golden colour is from all the iron.
