So on to Legget where we caught highway 1 to the coast. Beautiful drive, but not for the faint of heart or people who get car sick. We were told there are 489 turns that are done in the 1 hour drive.
Emerged to the coast with spectacular views, but still some curvy roads. Happened upon a winery, so of course we had to stop. The most fantastic views of the ocean and good wines as well. ...

So we just go back on the bike and followed CA-20E cleverly called the Ft Bragg-Willits Highway, all the way back to the 101 and our hotel in Willits. CA-20E is a spectacular motorcycle ride. The scenery is ok, but the twists and turns are never ending for the entire 35 miles. This is a ...

We took a ride to Fort Bragg on the coast to go to Glass
Beach, well known for sea glass. Many years ago it used to be the town dump,
long since cleaned up but the ocean is still turning sea glass. Had fun picking and even got Bruce to pick
also. It was a beautiful spot and on the
way back to the car we saw a doe with two fawns. We ...

We hit the Avenue of the Giants early and it was like driving into a tunnel. Jst magnificent to see these 2000+ year old tree that have survived so much. Even the fallen ones are awesome to see. So thankfull for the foresight some of our predecessors had to save some of these wonders for us to enjoy. Hope we can preserve something for our grandkids instead of using everything ...
