No regrets... maybe

Ten hours, that's it. Just finishing making sure I have everything I need for the next four months. Packing up the last little bit of clothes that just got washed, the electronics, pillows and blankets, and the much needed water bottle.

... for this new experience. Didn't think it would fit, but my mad packing skills made all the difference. Just kidding. It did all fit, but it also fit as perfectly as a puzzle.

We will be stopping in Missouri first to see my Grandpa and Grandma Tillinger. We will spend two nights there then move onto our next destination.

... in the day, we headed a half-hour east to play golf at the Castle Course at Northern Bay. It was a nice course with eight holes that are replicas of famous golf holes including two from the Masters and several from US Open and PGA courses. It was fun to play the actual yardages the pros play on very close replicas of those holes. What were surprisingly difficult, were the greens on those holes. Really ...

... in duckweed last time is was here. We got here at exactly midnight, having taken our time packing up during the day. It pays to be careful when you leave for a long time. We packed the van, prepared our "kitchen" (a box full of food), and double checked paperwork. I even took a trip to the county court at Skokie to get copies of the kids' birth certificates since we are still waiting on passports ...
