... going for lunch at the Ariston, the famous oldest historic Route 66 cafe run by the Adams family. Dad had told us about here and was recommended its well worth the visit. ... alongside the classic cars, so effectively we had just joined the Route 66 festival rideout. The streets were lined with people sat along the curbside or in deck chairs, all waving and cheering. We could not believe our luck and the great timing Marra had taken us.
