Onto the Plains
... of everything you could need is either closed all day or closed part of the day. Then this is the day that people feel that they should travel: go to grandma's, go to the park, go out to eat, go to a movie, etc. The roads are cleared of the more traditional commuter traffic, but the traffic that replaces it is a slower, lazier, more unaware variety. Especially in small towns, no one's in any hurry.

Corn, Love and Bugs
... previous years of the corn maze and those were interesting. We also had the fun of taking a picture with a walking corn stalk. The real gem of the palace is the outside. It's incredible to see the murals made of corn. We were fortunate in that we were there in the midst of creating some of the murals. We watched people put together hay bundles for one of the murals.
