... was right at lunchtime . Fairly large dining area inside and al fresco with a nice view of the river. Everyone's casually dressed and very laid back, very at ease atmosphere. Sonya arrives looking great as usual. Smiling, excited, eager and hungry all in one. We get seated and order lemonade, really good stuff, and she tells me what she's ordered in her previous visits. I study the menu and choose something not on the menu! Chicken enchiladas with mołe sauce on top. ...

6th-7th August Not a great deal to talk about after yesterday as it was a driving day, we drove from New Mexico into Texas, and drove down to San Antonio, a fairly uneventful drive. Although in southern Texas it was still very similar to Louisiana but ...

Our first stop was The ...

Today started bright and early, with a shuttle picking us up from the campground at 8 am for our tour of the city. The shuttle dropped us off near the Alamo, where we were joined by 45 other excited tourists, to spend the day together on a bus. Goody!! It was actually the perfect combination of air conditioned bus and very hot site seeing.
The day started where we had ended yesterday, at the Riverwalk, except this time we got to see it ...
