    ... Silent Night" in over 300 languages. Jim found an interesting fact about the reason "Silent Night" was performed with guitar for its first performance. The organ was in need of repair so it wasn't playable hence the guitar. He said if he had known he would have fixed the organ in time for the performance!

    We head for Petoskey, MI Sunday. This stop should really be a step up for our stay. So stay tuned for the latest!

    ... I could tell you the experience was great but almost as quickly as we were in the air I was asleep. What I can tell you is Delta has wonderful cereal for breakfast in business class.

    So thank you Delta for getting us safely to Iceland on time and on the day we thought we would be arriving. Tonight I am exhausted so I'll start the real blog tomorrow when we get our car and begin the Ring Road!

    ... here but I’m sure winter would be cruel. We stopped at a roadside park with beach access and strolled down to wade in the water. Surprisingly, it was quite warm. I would have thought it would be much cooler. Of course, then I had to walk back to the truck barefooted in the sand. Oh well, a little sand in the carpet won’t hurt anything.
