Spent the day today here in camp. Cooking, cleaning and watching a double header on tv. We had another HUGE storm again tonight. Two nights in a row there have been tornado warnings here and they had to take everyone from the tent sites and have them sit in the basement of the camp office. We watched it for hours. Storms here are definitely not like the ones we have in California. Tomorrow we head for Indiana!!! Look out cousins, here we ...

The city itself is very clean even though it is so crowded. There are few places to park a car so most people walk, ride a bike, take a taxi or take the "El". The cab drivers here are not as crazy as they are in New York City, but some of them are in training I think.

We came back to camp and Mike decided to detail the Jeep a bit. I, on the other hand, just enjoyed the view. I think you can understand why ;-)
It's funny how this came about. 2 girlfriends planned on getting fun tattoos on their ankles. They said "why don’t you get one Alena…maybe in honor of your mom". At 35 years old I thought I had reached a point of NEVER EVER getting one. Not to mention THE PAIN! Ideas were thrown around and then this idea came to me…the red balloon symbolizes her free spirited hippie nature, selling balloons cross country in the 1960's, AND ...
