Leaving Joe Wheeler
Happy Thanksgiving everyone. Harry and I launched "Newhouse" a couple of days ago from Joe Wheeler State Park and Marina on her maiden voyage. We left with two other cruisers, Jim and Barbie on their 28' Hunter and Jack on his 43' Albin.
We are making our way back to the entrance to the Tenn-Tom Canal which will take us to the Gulf of Mexico in Mobile Alabama.

The Lincoln County Court House area seems to be a rather busy place with the Lincoln Theatre showing current movies. Based on the the theatre's marquis I don't think some movies should be seen in 3D.

Marshall County's Court House is very similar to other Tennessee court houses with beautiful roman numeral clocks facing the cardinal directions.
