... the answers during my visit with my good old friend, Heidi.

My visit with Heidi was a lot of fun. We hiked, spent the night in a forest cabin, saw old friends, got lost a lot, and laughed a lot. But I also realized that I didn't really miss Montana. That what I really wanted out of life was not working as a biologist. And that what I really want and who I really am is a person who travels around the world, ...

My camping buddy, Tom, from Bellingham was the only other rider and it was nice to ...

... but, as usual, if you just dive in, it's all worth it. We swam for a bit while Pippi explored the shore. Eventually, upon her barking at us out in the water, I coaxed her in. I wouldn't say she really loved it. But she didn't hate it either. I'm hopeful we have a prodigy in the making! After our swim, we continued onward in search of a campsight near Bigfork. We ...

... a seven hour journey the first thing we all did was jump in for a swim. Then camp fire, hot dogs, popcorn, football and a fabulous sunset. Probably coming in at our favourite campground of the trip so far. Love it. Although the National Park campgrounds have been brilliant, so far our top three have all been State managed, much smaller and in lovely spots off the beaten track. Tomorrow, a far shorter drive....off to ...
