... but, as usual, if you just dive in, it's all worth it. We swam for a bit while Pippi explored the shore. Eventually, upon her barking at us out in the water, I coaxed her in. ... a seven hour journey the first thing we all did was jump in for a swim. Then camp fire, hot dogs, popcorn, football and a fabulous sunset. Probably coming in at our favourite campground of the trip so far. Love it. Although the National Park campgrounds have been brilliant, so far our top three have all been State managed, much smaller and in lovely spots off the beaten track. ... and cattle. However, today we have moved into snow capped mountain tops in the distance and they make a lovely backdrop for the green pine and rock formations that we are now seeing. The animals that we see now are pretty much
cattle and some wildlife. Besides cattle, we saw a family of egrets, some mules and donkeys to expand our collection of animals sightings.
