The weather here is getting better finally.
had some cottage friends here for the week end and we all went sailing on the Sea of Abaco and it was a Great Sail day.
I am spending the days walking around town, making new friends.
Hopetown is so quaint I feel very much at home and at peace here.

... is only one flight into Marsh Harbour and it flys before we got to Nassau.
The next day went smoothly, we left on time to fly into Marsh Harbour. We hired a taxi to take us for provisions ( wine and food) and then boarded the ferry to Hopetown.
My friends John & Rosemary met us at the dock as did the caretaker for our house and off we went.
... mind opening and eternally interesting. However, being able to see the world viewed through the prism of the people who live in that place is a true blessing. We will always be enormously grateful for the friends who opened their houses and lives and invited us to share. You have enriched us with your hospitality and your generosity. Thank you.
Hopefully we can return the gift one day.

... ticket was still in the coal car. Ron found an old Estwing hammer of Gord's that he was pretty sure was used by Gord to build a house the family had lived in when they were very young. We were back in Stouffville in time for a great salmon dinner, complete with leftover birthday ...
Pulled into town.
Nice and warm now. Maybe 18C. We found a spot to park and walk for a bit.
We decided to hit a patio overlooking the water. Really nice place. It gave us a chance to sit and reflect. Nice and warm in the Sun
Lunch was a round of scallops each. Couple of pasta dishes and a steak sandwich.
