... Canyon. The river has carved a deep canyon in which you find yourself as you drive. Along the way we found a small waterfall by the side of the road and we came across what we hope is our only wildfire. The mountainside on the other side of the river was smoldering and we watched a helicopter take up water out of the river and drop it on the fire.
