... Express is pretty much American, they want a visa or mastercard...(unless you happen to be buying alcohol from a government liquor store)
2-while buying Allison an ice cream cone we were informed that our American $3 was only worth $2.97 (but she would let us go on the difference)
3-our endless daylight has ended...we've driven far enough south now that it is dark from about 10:30ish until at least 4:30ish...nice to sleep in the dark again

Leaving Whistler we travelled to Canim Lake (Reynolds Resort) near 100 Mile House, towards Williams Lake in the Cariboo Chilcotin Coast area/ In the Cariboo mountains in the Canadian Rockies. We found a beautiful site on the lake in the torrential rain. But when we woke up the next morning there was sunshine so we stayed another day and caught up with washing, and just generally had a break from driving. ... wir tagelang Baum für Baum niederschlugen um einerseits Feuerholzzu haben und andererseits Naturmaterial zum Bau von weidezäunen zu produzieren. Wie die Berserker haben wir ganze Landstriche kahlgeschlagen und so vielen wir Tag für Tag todmüde in die Kojen. Und in der Mitte vom Nichts gibt es auch wenig Dinge die den Schlaf hätten stören können. Ich glaub es war so unheimlich ruhig dass man eine Stecknadel hätte
