Had a nice swim in Lake Michigan near Chicago, huge lake can’t see the other side, there were large sand dunes and a small wave. Apparently a hippie in a combi does surf tours on the lake, but it just didn’t feel like the sea. Hils and I had several theories why not. ... up the car at Costco, walked about inside (more walking - is good!) and bought a Costco hotdog to take back to the room with us for supper. By the time we got back to the room, we were hungry, so the hotdog is gone, and I'm working on a cup of tea.
Our next two days are driving days: Fargo, ND, then Winnipeg, Manitoba, where we'll spend 2 nights and one day.

Dallas. It's a big but nicely laid out airport. It has a train! It was freezing in the airport. So we got starbucks and rode the train for a while because it was actually warm.
