Hurricane Bertha is forming in the Atlantic Ocean but sounds like it will not hit the shore line. Thank God! This is my greatest fear because we will be staying on the beach on Virginia Beach. Lovely weather today and good driving. Boys are playing car bingo, car scavenger hunt and license plate game. They are motivated because they won prizes! So far so ...

... flooding. So, we've been lucky, the ****** weather was at night. We are heading to Minnesota tomorrow and wondering if we'll encounter any of the flooding they have been reporting to have there. Hopefully, not! Even South Dakota has been having crazy weather and we will be in SD on Tuesday evening. Hope everyone is doing well. ... of place that really makes it all worthwhile. I really mean it. We got off to a late start this morning and headed to Alma Center/Hixton which is southwest from where we were. We have some extra time before we need to get to South Dakota, so we made a reservation at the Hixton Alma Center Kampground for the next 3 days. The ride down here was just beautiful. ... butt moving and really pack. It's 10 at night now and I'm still not completely packed, but it's a work in progress right? We packed a lot for this excursion, but it's in my blood to be an over-packer. You never know when you're going to need the seemingly frivolous things. But when an emergency strikes, you can bet I'll be prepared with my stuffed luggage.

... the Christmas moose you can see in the far right in the photo but we ended up with a set of metal bowls, measuring cups &spoons and whisk - probably more useful if much more boring.). Then I move us into the Frantz while Bruce and Ben hook the truck to the trailer and head out for traveling lessons. While the boys drive off I head into Wpg to take the rental car back. I get back 3.5 hours later ...
