    ... idyllic. We sought out the Truman home(closed) the library and museum ( little or no parking and pouring rain ). As we wandered around in the rain we came across a building that looked like a soft serve ice cream. It turns out that it is the world headquarters of the Community of Christ.     ... I was silly to think they might be! Anyway after that tasty lunch we headed to the train station a little early just so we didn't have to lug our bags round too much. We caught the train, marvelled at the lovely 'fall' colours outside the window yet again and then settled down to watch transformers 4 (scenes from Chicago!) with a dinner of popcorn and sweets with wine and cocktails.     As the title suggests, this will be the story of July 30 and July 31 rolled into one.
    You already know that Pat was on his way to Big O Tires when I wrote and posted the blog yesterday morning. The spare was removed and two new tires were put on the left rear. The other tires were okay and were under the watchful eye of Pat as the service technicians did their jobs.
