Yet another set of quiet days. We headed in the right direction to skip construction traffic. Also, after some looking we managed to find a spot to stop for Southern Food (family here always goes for chains, this time I wanted to actually have some so we stopped BEFORE hand). Mary's Southern Kitchen, I think was the name. Very good, and very happy we stopped, also managed to get a lunch for the next day out of it (thanks to the amount of food).

... of years back, but really? It feels like every other major city... Trashy. I don't know if it's a lack of education, where-with-all, or intestinal fortitude, but that place needs some people to kick in and work. I get that things cost money, but picking your $&@? up is free; so do it. We landed in Mobile Alabama, and it is awesome. Cooler than the last two states at the same time of night, and loaded with trees. It is beautiful. I wish we were staying longer. ...

... the first place, we can still see the ocean even though we are on the river. In the second place, we continue to have great service from the marina and our boat is now repaired. They have great washing machines and dryers and a good shower. Additionally, some of my family drove to Mobile to visit us since we cannot get to them and we had a fine time. And, our other friends, the ones who left our flotilla after Aberdeen, have rejoined our little group. We have dined ...
