    I continued on 98 scenic route, headed north and continued an enjoyable ride. Finally hit I-10 west and headed to Mobile Ala. en-route to Bayou La Batre.

    Glad to be staying at a hotel. It is so hot out here. It is 95 degrees but feels like 103. Yow! We were going to camp at a place with a water park but it is to hot. I was glad to here we were going to stay at a hotel. We went to visit Bret Favre's home town. Small. The town was called Kiln. We went out to eat at a sea food joint. Mmmmm yummy yummy.     ... weather was deteriorating a few miles ahead so we pulled over to the shoulder with the traffic barely creeping past us. Then we saw the rain heading our way fast and we both scrambled to get at least our rain jackets on. No time for rain pants as it started pouring down in buckets.     ... of years back, but really? It feels like every other major city... Trashy. I don't know if it's a lack of education, where-with-all, or intestinal fortitude, but that place needs some people to kick in and work. I get that things cost money, but picking your $&@? up is free; so do it. We landed in Mobile Alabama, and it is awesome.     ... the first place, we can still see the ocean even though we are on the river. In the second place, we continue to have great service from the marina and our boat is now repaired. They have great washing machines and dryers and a good shower. Additionally, some of my family drove to Mobile to visit us since we cannot get to them and we had a fine time.
