... but since we planned on driving back to Cape Coral, we did a quick tour. We then visited the USS DRUM, which is also onsite. Thankfully I will never have to travel in a submarine. From there we headed back to Cape Coral almost non-stop. We had lunch at McDonalds and for dinner Eric had a Subway sandwich. We arrived at our house in Cape Coral at 9:45, but only after a stop at Publix for some breakfast ...

The alarm went off at 5:00 am and we were off and running. Sandwiches were made for the journey, showers taken and bags off into the car. We left Cape Coral at 5:45 am. Mary's Southern Kitchen, I think was the name. Very good, and very happy we stopped, also managed to get a lunch for the next day out of it (thanks to the amount of food).

We bought the supplies in case it got catastrophic (see supplies that we have to keep moving everyday). I had originally pictured doing this out in the middle of the desert in Texas, but the giant zip tie has exceeded expectation. We also are learning to cope with the new additions to ...

    Stuck inside of Mobile...

Yes, we are still here in Mobile. We were hoping to set sail for Pensacola today but it is simply not to be. The weather has been bitterly cold, windy and rainy. Last night was a noisy one. We had some wicked wind, rain and a very strong current. The water was so high and moving so fast it seemed as if we would float away. The hull was thumping and we were rocking and rolling all night long. In the wee hours of the night, during the worst of the storm, the marina ...
