Today we are being picked up by a limo to travel to Detroit Metro Airport to start our journey that Braedan has been dreaming for. We will be heading from Detroit to Atlanta and then on to South Africa we go. From Atlanta, we will be heading to Johannesburg for a quick stop and then we should arrive in Cape Town tomorrow night to get this adventure really started! ... was pretty uneventful, with endless miles of trees and fields. We stopped just before we crossed into Ohio for a bit of lunch, eating the left over pizza we had. Got in to our motel around 2 and were going to watch the race, but it’s not on TV here, so Dan dropped me off at a quilt shop while he went to Andersons. It's almost 10pm and finally, the plane is almost about to take off. For the first time ever, we are on a flight that is almost empty! I would say about 30% full or less. Feel sorry for those suckers who paid extra for Economy Comfort. We are seated in the middle section where there are 3 seats across.
