Day 6 - Saturday 15th August
Today was all about putting some miles on the clock. The drive to Limon in Colorado was over 400 miles away. The Kansas landscape is just so vast the time seemed to drag inside the car too.

The day started out great. I was driving and following Mike and we had to pull into a toll booth on the Kansas Turnpike. Immediately a guy behind me started beeping his horn. She stacked a bunch of journals next to my plate and told me to write my story in one. They were filled with stories from traveling-through cafe patrons from all over the world. ... a few placed and decided that we were kind of hungry, we found a sea food place that had a covered outdoor seating area and lots of fans (sounded perfect for us, we sat down and enjoyed a nice late lunch early dinner and watched as people walked and rode by. It is amazing how laid back everyone is here. The smell of the ocean is refreshing and the laid back atmosphere is amazing. One could get used to this lifestyle... Or maybe not (check ...
