      ... It didn’t cross our minds how difficult this would be. We climbed Camelback Mountain in Phoenix twice! This should be a piece of cake. Yeah, right. The trail markers were pretty much nonexistent which caused us to go off-course and get lost several times only to find a hidden marker in the distance or completely broken and laying among the rocks and dirt.       It was up at 7am for me at least anyway to get things ready for our trip at 9, everyone could have really done with a lie in really. The butterflies in my tummy were starting to kick in but I was keeping a brace face for the kids ��.       ... streak and was soon out of the game. Annick hung in for quite a bit longer, but as expected eventually went down as well. We're not big gamblers but the odd flutter at the blackjack tables is always a bit of fun, albeit of fairly short duration in my case. At least you get 'free' drinks whilst you're at a table! I don't have photos of the Grand Canyon as due to problems with my ipad I can't upload them. Hopefully I'll work out how to solve the problem and post them ...
