    ... for about 30 minutes…..what a guy. Then, to top this great day off…….fireworks.
    I am one lucky woman!

    We are headed to Pahrump NV tomorrow for 2 days and then
    down into Death Valley for 7 – 10 days…maybe, Rusty just told me the weather
    was going to be in the high 80’s and wasn’t too happy about that. J

    Lake Havasu City, in Arizona, hosts a balloon festival every year and we were lucky enough to be going through there at balloon time! We camped at the Lake Havasu State Park in the overflow area, the one we like best because we can back our trailers up to the lakeside and form a u-shape to put the campfire ring in...always magnificent sunsets each ...

    ... sudden storm ever witnessed. From wading in the lake one minute to watching from the hotel in about 10 minutes. A rising wind; high waves and whitecaps; stinging sand complete with lightning, thunder and rain of flood proportions!
