    The morning started with breakfast under the wing. Having raided my emergency provisions kit, I rediscovered all sorts of goodies. I knew I could boil water, and I always have my portable espresso machine with me to avoid the inevitable coffee desert.... But I also found the Porridge Bars that I had bought in Scotland, which are frankly just the best. Simple things.... Talking of which, meet my travelling ...

    Today we went to a "museum". This museum was very cool one could climb around in all sorts of mazes that you could run and have fun in. After 4 more hours of driving we got to Jacob's geodes.     ... campsite in the area and visit the graveyard and little town.
    We are camped on Crab Orc***********al Wildlife Preserve beside Crab Orchard Lake.

    I spent the afternoon fishing (not even a bite) and watching Meatball swim and charge all over the lake front. A nice glass of vino and steak on the the outdoor grill made for a nice day!

    We stayed at Wakonda Lake Campground in MO on the 29th. Turns out that it is on the flood plains of the Mississippi. VERY wet ...
