... steak dinner. Dom, who is the executive chef for the Houston Astros made a huge pan of Mac n Cheese to go with the steaks and sweet Texas corn. I'm sorry to my Aunty Ruthann, who used to be the reigning Mac n Cheese champ, but Dom's has barely eeked out ahead. ... a toll plaza, I noticed the sign for those cars without the ez tag. It told them to approach the gate with caution and there was a $1.50 minimum charge. I know it meant that you had to pay $1.50 and no less but in a moment of whimsy, I took it to mean that you could pay $1.50 or any amount over that you wanted! I just couldn't imagine someone pulling up to the toll plaza personnel ...

... maybe you can if you don't pour the syrup all over it at the start. I really didn't need the bacon though.

As it had taken until about 11am to get seated, we decided to skip lunch as there was no way we needed it! Plus I felt really quite ill from all that food! We made our way onto the I-10 heading for the Museum District which should have been about 25 minutes drive away.

40 minutes later we wondered how we'd ...
