We rolled into Tennessee and found yet another beautiful park and landed a space one camping row away from Onion Creek, or across the road. On a map, we are smack dab in the middle of the ole' Volunteer State. A very small picturesque town east of Nashville. Today was a quiet travel. We left Salem, VA on a dreary, drizzly morning. By the time we were in Nashville, TN it was sunny and mild. I am still feeling the residual weakness and feeling tired from having the flu so we made it an easy day, We went to American Pickers Antique Archaeology store. ... found Tennessee highway 840, a bypass, which skirted around Nashville and much less traffic. The only interesting thing was that the road only opened less than a year ago and our GPS (we've named Bertha) had no idea where we were.
