      Checking in was rather unusual. There was a luggage scan at the entrance. Heading toward international departures--without a ticket--there was a further scan. Not long thereafter there was a third scan.

      ... meet my friends, the sky is getting more clouded and a few drops of rain leave marks on my papers. I am hoping it will not continue to rain as I am only wearing shorts and sandals and I will have to walk home to my friend's place later to spend the night. Unfortunately, as we are enjoying our wings and beer (bud light platinum, what a weird drink!!) we can see the sky darkening completely and we hear heavy rains coming down.       ... flags are everywhere already since we are celebrating Canada Day tomorrow... I am determined to go see the fireworks, it is on my to-do list... Hopefully I get to upload some of the pictures I have taken already, of course, my camera is with me at (almost) all times.

      Until then, I am heading to bed now and am wishing all German folks who have to work tomorrow (or today, according to your time) a wonderful and quiet day at work!

      ... hay roofs, old stone walls and very small windows. Kind of how you would picture a houses many centuries ago or a village in a old, abandoned town. All in all I think Bexley is one of the best places to be in the entire island.
