    ... same to a manager if he or she wanted to listen . . . she took 15% off my bill for my trouble!!

    Carol got a piece of strawberry cheesecake to go for dessert. I later went over to a Biggby Coffee for my dessert . . . and in the process spotted a Tim Horton's!! Guess Carol will get breakfast in the morning . . . even if she sleeps in past the Hampton Inn complementary breakfast!!

    We both relaxed and read into late evening . . . and turned in. Good night!!

    We were up early today and left the campground by 8 a.m. We are heading to the Upper Peninsula but will stop half way. Made a reservation at a KOA in Roscommon at Higgins Lake. Along the way we traveled Interstate 75 and saw lots of beautiful farmland along the way. Some of it reminded me of PA's Amish Country, Nice and flat/green and you can see for miles on the open road.     ... tonight is that we are tired as there really is nothing that sets it apart from the many other small towns in northern Michigan. Tomorrow we continue heading north until we can cut around the top of Lake Michigan. Today has been very boring, but things should pick up soon as we leave the interstates behind and get up close and personal with Michigan.

    ... are smart little creatures; I have several bites on my scalp. Guess I should have worn a cap.

    On Saturday, Kelly and I will travel to Ann Arbor, MI, to explore the university campus. I will drop Kelly off at the Ann Arbor airport shuttle and she will continue on to the Detroit airport to fly home. I will continue my journey west, or north, or south. No definite plans at this juncture.
