Today is all about Big Bend National Park so we buy muffins for breakfast, check out and head on our way. A couple of hours and about 100 miles later we arrive at Maverick Junction, the entrance station …

We arrived in Fort Stockton about 4 and followed the GPS to the campground. I had looked up this campground on the map and Google Earth so I knew it was right off I-10, but the GPS had us exit and go through town. If we had gone straight when we exited we would have ...

... t violate any local laws. In Atlanta, for instance, it is illegal to stay overnight in a motorhome or a camping trailer. So you can't do it there..........not that I'd want to. But if you're traveling and need a place to park for 8 hours and get some sleep, Walmart, Flying J, Loves Truck Stops, and usually Pilot have places for you. And it's free.

We got up around 8:30 or 9 this morning, I had a sandwich, and started pushing southwest. It ...
