    ... been having trouble with it since outside of Kerrville. Makes me want to throw it out of the window!!! T-Mobile is not very good, I guess.

    The pictures are just some of the scenery in West Texas. When your driving, there really isn't much reason to take pictures. I didn't get a picture of our campsite tonight, so guess I'll have to take one tomorrow before we leave.

    ... place is VAST. Unless you've been here, it's hard to get it. I've had the discussion with people as to how Americans are "amerocentric"...........but the thing is, most Europeans don't realize how huge our country is. Texas, and Texas alone, is bigger than SPAIN.........and half a dozen other European countries included. A guy I met in Scotland said that was the thing that amazed him the most about America.....how HUGE it was.

    Midday temp: 25C

    The temperature was a pleasant 14C when we went to bed so I didn't turn the furnace on, but through the night the temperature dipped to -4C. I was up at 0530 to turn it on when I realized how cold it was in Star.
