      ... deserted (mind the pun) town ever to drive through. Scary deserted. There was ************e around and all the houses and shops had broken windows and were either half burnt down or falling apart. We got the hell out of there pretty quickly. We went on to the famous Route 66 for a little bit just to experience it. It was pretty cool with old fashioned shops and bars along side.       ... because of the cost ($102) but we felt that this we have already done this in Florida. We decided in the end to put a little time into the tans and visit the swimming pool, the pool was good, not to small but not too large either.       ... At the cove, there was a small beach were you could swim super close to the sea lions. There were people on kayaking tours, scuba diving and climbing all over the rocks. The sea lions seemed like if they'd seen one person, they'd seen them all. Not phased at all by the number of people that were there to see them, I think they even liked the attention. We walked out to the rocks and found some more tide pools, crabs and ...
