... I got as much stuff as I could fit in the car and got out of there as quick as possible.

I then thought that I might as well stock up on a few snacks while I was in the mood for shopping. I went to a supermarket and started filling my trolley. It's funny how the cost adds up when you wander round those places. It didn't seem to worry me though and the bill became pretty steep, pretty quick.

All in all, it was a really ...
Madison, Georgia, United States holliday... It was perfect! I am always on the lookout for a park where I can invite friends and family to come visit us during our RV lifestyle. This park does the trick. There is every style of camping including fabulous cabins! Great facilities for groups that want to get together and play and eat and talk. Not to mention a masters level golf course!! All this only 45 minutes from the Atlanta airport!!

Off to San Francisco and beyond!!

Eatonton, Georgia, United States jodieandandy... the whole way back. We even coordinated our stops very well. We were back in Atlanta at 5 pm - but luckily not too much traffic. We stopped at the new Barrow Publix for some dinner and milk. The kids got to play with the neighbors while we unloaded the car.

Whew!
Bogart, Georgia, United States jspringe... that they can't get off!), a switchblade, and our National Park Pass. From the rearview mirror hangs our good luck charm. And finally, we have our special-made goody bag in the front floorboard for us to really get things rolling. Whatever we don't have, we don't need - I'm convinced. We've even made our own "Ten Commandments of Roadtripping" to keep each of us on our best behavior. New Orleans or bust!
Decatur, Georgia, United States cgibbons18... 18 years. So that makes it fun, because we are supposed to be going straight through there to switch airports, and supposedly do a quickie tour bus ride to see the sights. Maybe it will be beautiful and winter wonderlandish. I just hope the traffic doesn't cause us to miss our flight to Delhi. There have been so many obstacles to this trip already, and we are so close! I just want to get there!
Covington, Georgia, United States julie1227... to go and witness how God is at work in that place. I cannot explain the draw. It must be a mystery. Along this journey I have had several people express to me their fears and concerns about the trip, at every stage of the way. Many feared for my safety when they first heard I was going. It was very unfortunate timing that tragedy struck Mumbai only a week after I decided to go on this trip. It was very unfortunate that tragedy struck ...
Covington, Georgia, United States julie1227... before our flight left. After the 5:00 Christmas Eve service, everyone wished me a safe trip and lots of luck. I had begun letting some people know that it might not happen. Just before the 9:00 service, I checked online. No visa. Our deadline had ended. Christmas day was a little depressing, as the full reality of this much anticipated and much hoped for trip had been put to an end. It was at least a blessing to have a few days off to ...
Covington, Georgia, United States julie1227... you and your upcoming trip. You will experience a culture that is very different and people who are very needy. The celebration of the Birth of the Christ Child will be fresh in your mind. Remember that the people with whom you will minister are people for whom Christ came to show the way to the Father. Let the joy of the Lord shine through you, and the love of Christ be seen in your attitude and your ...
Covington, Georgia, United States julie1227... Well, I guess you're trip is canceled" with so much certainty, I almost got defensive in responding. "No, of course we're still going." I shocked so many with my response that they began to think I was crazy (if they hadn't known the truth before). Over the next few weeks, I heard endless comments from church members about how worried they were for me. Some even offered to let me borrow their guns! I'm hoping that these were jokes, because anyone who ...
