... We almost completed the entire house's siding but had to wrap up in time to get over to the YMCA and start getting ready for dinner. The nice people at the Y let me get in a nice 2 mile jog on the treadmill (something I have yet to do on this trip and man it showed!) and now to shower at the church before another host-provided meal potluck style :) That's a wrap! 9 straight bike days start tomorrow! Our van can't accommodate all 30 riders and bicycles and food and luggage. So Jamie (our leader that was driving today) started shuttling folks, but everyone that remains was basically stranded until they came ...

... islands across the bay. I managed to get a 10 dollar return ferry ticket to Sausalito, I thought that was a good deal. The ferry journey was amazing and I saved on paying out on a bay cruise so it was definitely a good deal.

  • I met an English guy, apparently he missed the European feel and was getting tired of the American ways so he escaped to the Mediterranean unknown. I asked where he was from, he said Hackney, I was mega confused! America was probably more hackney ...
