Baseball Hall of Fame
... has not been with us since we left Toronto. We have had a lot of rain, fog and cool weather. So, our trip through the Green Mountains was a bit stressful. We had fog and rain on some very curvy roads. Luckily, it was only about a 3 hour drive and we arrived safely in Keene, New Hampshire for our nights stay.

Long Drive is Well Worth It for Baseball Fanatic!
... but some fall colors were still visible. Even though the drive was long, It will be well-worth it for baseball fanatic Dave.
It was great to see the lockers, uniforms, gloves and memorabilia of the baseball greats. Really amazing how much baseball has changed over the years but is it still "America's Favorite Pasttime"?.

American Impressionism at Fenimore Art Museum
... exhibits and the GC Myers Internal Landscapes the most. The folk art was fun, the building lovely and the grounds beautiful with a view of Otsego Lake. I briefly checked out Cooperstown with the hopes of finding something interesting to eat but at around 5 pm, the streets were virtually empty. I found a mochaccino ice to tide me over until I got home to eat.

Back Through the Mountains
... seeing farm life, you can see a little of that here. South of this area there seems to be a lot of antique shops. This is a place to get away without completely getting away from it all. There are plenty of outdoor activities, friendly people and quiet roads. The drive from the city is probably better if you plan to not hit traffic and drive during the day. Hmm, not much else to say, if you want to know anything just ask!
