Day 20 – Driving through Texas

In the morning Austin was behind and the lonely roads of Texas were waiting us. After finishing Austin we had completed all the four music hot spots in the USA.

Day 2
... today -- actually we all did in that I thought I had lost my fanny pack with all my IDs, credit cards, passport, money, etc. After making some calls back to our lunch spot, etc., the fanny pack was found on the bed in the hotel room. I didn't remember taking it out of the trunk so I never looked for it in our room -- scary isn't it. That's it for today as it's already 10:00PM and we are repeating this morning's routine tomorrow.

Copper Breaks State Park
Today was a LONG day. We drove 8 hours, most of the way to the Dallas area from Albuquerque, and stayed at Copper Breaks State Park, which was our first experience with camping in an unattended government park. Eastward Bound across New Mexico to Texas
... the USA we are estimating that we will have driven 9,500miles…. that's like…. well let's say if we do 10,000miles…. that will about 16,000k's …. is that like tearing around Oz in 9weeks? Don't know maybe someone could comment on this. This Motorhome is on an automatic V10 Ford Titan Truck and it likes its juice especially climbing up to the Grand Canyon. We have driven 1300miles in the last 5 days since leaving San Diego.
