It’s been a great weekend with my family. We stomped around Lost River Caverns, went to the Farmers’ Market, to a t-ball game (can we talk about how entertaining t-ball games are?), and had a few cookouts. I don’t get to Kentucky nearly often enough, so it was wonderful to spend time with my sister and her husband and two of my nephews and their wives and their families.

Asheville seems to have a hipster vibe – obvious after only 45 minutes of walking around. There are a lot of art studios, gift shops and restaurants. (There's also the requisite number of folks walking around with dreadlocks and freaky piercings.) I was there about 20 years ago and it was pretty rough downtown, so it’s exciting to see how well ...

The plan today was to do the Gibson guitar factory in Memphis. Well I did go there but going on the tour should have been pre-arranged etc. etc. Too bad but I did go into the show room. Beautiful guitars and they had them all in here. When I will the lottery I will buy my Gibson here. Did one last tour of Beale St. and it was time to move on.....
