    ... and the stone, flags, and flowers that mark the crash site.

    Although the memorial has been constructed for a while, a new visitor center is due to open later this year. They are installing a walkway from the visitor center, through a grove of newly planted trees, and over a pedestrian bridge to the site. We hope to go back again in the future.

    Traveling from Touchstone East to Philadelphia, I happened across the sign for Flight 93 memorial, it took me a few minutes to realize I was in the area of Pennsylvania where Flight 93 crashed killing all 40 passengers.     ... we changed our plans and went east towards Somerset. We were on Highway 21 but later we turned onto smaller roads which were still called highways. Highway 653 did not even have a middle line!
