    ... thought it was weird, and then the further we walked we spotted more and more cats. They appeared to be well cared for, and when I went down onto the sand I saw that there was dozens of litter boxes under the board walk. Turns out they are an icon of the boardwalk and are cared for by volunteers. They are fed twice daily and all neutered/vaccinated etc. They tend to go out of sight during the day ...

Cow year was post-TEE leave, when a group of Gups (Frank, Mikey, Luke et al.) rented a house near the beach.
