Somehow, I found the Travel Insider web site and the package featured several things that sounded appealing - discounts, add-ons, a great itinerary, and a cruise company that we had used before &amp; enjoyed very much. I also spoke to the "host" - the Travel Insider himself - and found him to be pleasant, well-informed, and enthusiastic about the trip. <br><br>An auspicious start, I thought.<br>

... Italian restaurant a la Trump, we strolled along the boardwalk then went back to our room overlooking the ocean. Although we drove only 220 miles today, we travelled for 9 hours, and were tired. So, not finding anything exciting that appealed to us, we went to bed and got a good night&#8217;s sleep. That turned out to be one of our better decisions. Are we getting old? Or what? So i asked to play cards and my parents said 'No we're busy' so i went to my bedroom and since i had nothing to do, I turned on the tv and locked the door. The Atlantic City trip was cut short by Rain.  When the rain comes we run and hide our heads we might as well be dead... well you get the idea.  Anyway we were bummed out because the entry fee was steep and we did not get to ride the boardwalk in the morning as planned.  The ride out of Jersey was difficult and expensive.  Dual wheels cost a premium every few miles was a toll.  We got a Garmin GPS that was flawless except when trying to get on I-95 after crossing into Philly ...

... were lots of people walking.  Pinball effect in full force while riding around everyone with the little ones.  We left pretty soon since it got dark fast because we arrived a bit late.  Picked up a pizza &amp; soda at Boardwalk Bistro before heading to our Navion to dine and leave.  The pizza was almost New York like.  Best so far we've had this trip.  We were eager to go ...

... but I was calm and said some suggestions. Somehow things turned out ok and I was able to arrange things to where it all fit and still looks like we didn't buy extra luggage hehe. Turned out all good :) Now we're heading to Washington DC and I'm here just typing away on my blog cuz I didn't take my book out of my bagpack. ... being on the island is great. Lots of rooms for kids to run, and no where to go. We at some lunch and walked around the island, our daughter fell asleep by the time we were done. We caught the last ferry back to NJ. Overall: A great day. Need to get there early to spend more time at Ellis Island The Statue of Liberty is amazing, even if you lived here all your life. We will definitely go back again.
