... One of their hobbies is wine making so we got to see their great cellar and also sample the wine which was very nice. We didn't get to bed quite so early that night but it was great.

... spa - lovely. We fought to fit everything back in the cases. Naturally we brought too much. Next time we will leave half of it at home!!! During the week I also managed to fit in scrapbooking, line dancing, champagne cocktail tasting, naturalist talks (Rob came to them too) and of course, we did lots of eating. The food was wonderful as usual on a cruise.

... BC was fabulous! We had a wonderful dinner with their friends Cathryn (a BC Sculptor - http://www.jenkinssculptor.com/) and Don (who was celebrating his 48th birthday). Darla is curled up contently on the heated massage chair and Lincoln is trying to figure out how he can also get on it. The drive back was uneventful and I was pretty tired so I pretty much went straight to bed, though not until I showed dad why my laptop is so much better than his. By the way, he's not convinced.

Left Nelson 8:20AM on January 29th after the last show of "Proof" and a long and sleepless night. Arrived in Vancouver to it's trademark rain, but awoke to sunshine and a beautiful, mild day. A gorgeous day and a beautiful way to start off a trip. Flying out of Victoria on Thursday for Amsterdam.
