We had a broken AC unit in our room and it was over 100 outside. The staff was friendly about finding us another room. The place was under renovation and was being painted so we got a deal and I barely smelled the paint fumes. So all in all blah bluh blah bluh. Sorry, that happens every once in a while since I stayed there.

We figured being in Missouri we needed to stop by Kansas City for some amazing BBQ since the city is known for it!! We stopped at.... We ordered 4 huge meals and shared between the four of us!! We don't think we could eat at another BBQ place again that is how good it was!! After this we drove to a town in the middle of no where (3 hours east of Denver) on I-70 West in Kansas State next to a town called Kanarado (we loved this name) and got a hotel to get some shut ...
Switched hotels today for a better deal and the hotel is so nice and on the Main Street. This area is called The Plaza and seems to be the city centre although it feels more like a posh town. Lots of big and little fountains everywhere, really nice buildings and lots of flowers. Nice shops - bought another pullover to keep warm! There were a couple of musicians on the street and a couple of street magicians. Had quite a lazy day and a day of food. By the time ...
... Fair outside and down the street, so we never went in as we got distracted by Bratwurst sausages and beer that they were selling and took a walk around the fair. It was next to the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art which has lovely grounds and outdoor sculptors. The Kepler did too actually. Really nice area. We popped in and got kicked out shortly afterwards as it was late. It was free and pretty cool, so we may go back ...
... a little awkward at first, too! I might actually miss walking everywhere!
London was a blast- we had a nice flat in a very convenient location, met some new people & of course getting to know a couple of my classmates a little better is icing on the cake! Paris was cold & different but still so much beauty in the city! And then there's Italy!! The three cities have so much art & history ...
... asked Audra, Megan (another high school bff), and I to be three of her six bridesmaids. Yes please! As they say, the rest is history and now we are about to be on our way. We will be in Tilff, Belgium for about 10 days doing all of those lovely pre-wedding things. No doubt this will be the highlight of our trip.
After Belgium is when things get crazy. Megan is sticking with us throughout Paris (3 days), Madrid, Spain (3 days), ...
