... Texas for some lunch at a rest area...finally something other than Turkey in a wrap...tuna sandwiches, heaven! Then back on the road we got to see some the sticks! ... very creative with money hanging out of the pockets, holding ice cream, flowers, stethoscope, etc.

The city sign boasted the 'city if murals'. So we drove around and viewed some of them and people waved to you from their front porches. We also stopped to visit an old cemetary.

We ate at Frog City, a one stop shop with cajun food, casino, gift shop and gas. There were 12 women sitting off to the side who come there every Tuesday ...

... of the thicket. I sat in a camp folding chair along the side of the RV, and just sat there for an hour quietly calling, "kitty..... here kitty". After a very long and lonely hour, out of the edge of the thorny blackberry bushes, came little kitty. We were so thankful she came back.... we love our little kitty. She slept on the foot of the bed the entire night. Oh yeah, about our dinner.....that didn't happen that night.

In 1892 Mr. McIlhenny, the Tobasco guy, captured 7 of the almost extinct snowy egrets and put them in a large flying enclosure. They grew, took mates, built nests and hatched and raised their young.
