Today we were on the road for 13 hours. The kids actually slept in the car for two hours, it was sheer bliss! It was a pretty uneventful drive. The hotel in Fargo is great. The kids burned off some energy in the pool and we bumped into a family we know from Edmonton! Weird. Another 13 hours tomorrow will land us in Portage, Indiana.
Small towns in eastern North Dakota often have little cafes operated by proprietors who decide to either open or not open on any given day.
